Calhoun County, Alabama (WLJS) -- A Jacksonville hair stylist and singer will be hosting an open mic poetry event in downtown Anniston with Jacksonville news reporter Ed Moore III, a representative for Moore said Monday.

Dea Love', a local singer and owner of Endless Design Braiding, LLC in Jacksonville, will be hosting "Peerless Saloon & Grille Poetry After Dark" with Moore Tuesday night.

The event, which is scheduled for 8 P.M. at the Peerless Saloon and Grille on 13 West 10th Street, will include open mic poetry and singing from local artists in the Calhoun County area, including artists from Birmingham.

According to Pamela Horton, Moore's publicist, the 21-year-old was approached by the event organizers on co-hosting the affair sometime in early October.

Horton says Love' and Moore met at a Peerless open mic night event in March.

The "Peerless Saloon & Grille Poetry After Dark" has been held inside the Peerless Saloon and Grille every second Tuesday of the month since February.
